EXAMINATIONS
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION, ASSESSMENT AND PROMOTIONS RULES
In order to find out whether its objectives of scheme of studies are being adequately achieved the school has evolved a scheme of examination and promotion rules which are suggested by the C.B.S.E. and is based on CCE and grading system.
An academic session is divided into two terms.
First Term : April to September
Second Term : October to March
Student is assessed under the system of CCE.
Under CCE student’s evaluation consists of two parts;
A)-Formative Assessment:-Compresses following:-
* Unit Tests
* Class work/ Home work/ Assignments
* Quizzes/ Oral questions
* Experiments/ Model making/ Group Projects
* Conversation/ Interviews/ Debates/ Speeches
* Behavior/ Attitude and many other tools of assessment.
B)-Summative Assessment -Terminal /Annual Examination
*There will be four formative Assessments.
* There will be two formative Assessment carry equal weight age of 10% each.
* In SA1, the students will be assessed from the First Term syllabus, prescribed by C.B.S.E., New Delhi
* In SA2, the students will be assessed from the Second Term syllabus, prescribed by C.B.S.E., New Delhi
